In the 1980s the Galileo Prop was donated by the studio to a School For The Blind. It was stored outdoors near Dayton Ohio and by the time it was auctioned in June 2013 all the wood exterior had rotted. Furthermore the metal framing had deteriorated badly including metal-cracking from the intrusion of water that had frozen inside.During restoration all of the wood had to be replaced. Some of the discarded wood exterior became prized by collectors as a historic artifact. This Sale includes notarized Affidavit of Authenticity to establish providence and explain how the artifact was obtained. Not a fake or scam. Museum Sale Preffered as the sample can be authenticated by spectrographic analysis of the paint and panel. I expect you will want to inspectspectrograph etc..
