Star Trek The Cage Episode Communicator. All Metal custom made antenna with, cast resin and screen accurate clear body, to mimic original screen used prop. This is a very rare hand crafted prop (not China Imported Master Replicas). This Communicator is exact to the Screen Used hero prop in every detail. All lathe turned metal and all metal antenna, turned and molded knobs as well. Clear resin was cast with some imperfections to match the screen prop of 1966. Christopher Pike preceded Captain Kirk in the Star Trek science fiction TV franchise.

He was portrayed by Jeffrey Hunter in the original Star Trek pilot episode, The Cage, as captain of the USS Enterprise. The pilot was rejected, and the character was dropped during development of the second pilot when Hunter decided that he did not want to continue with the series.

Then Bill Shatner stepped in. This specific style Communicator first appeared in the episode The Cage made in 1966. The example before you is an exact copy of the Screen Used Hero versions.
